ALSOOMSE are proud to be a foundation cattery of this rare and unique breed in the UK, being one of the first to import and breed Pixie Bobs, ALSOOMSE have been specialist breeders of top quality Pixie Bobs since 2004. Although we have had breeding experience for many years with dogs, cats and rescue. It was then we started our hobby breeding program with the Pixie Bob. We offer outstanding Pixie Bobs available as pets, for show and breeding. We are very proud to be the top show cattery in the UK and Europe and are thrilled with our success in the TICA show rings. We have to date bred SEVEN champions, one being the first entire "Supreme Grand Championship", in the UK and Europe, our home-bred boy Diesel and also winning "Best Pixiebob of the Year in the UK and Northern Europe 2008/2009".

Size and that fabulous wild look are very important to us in our Pixie Bob breeding program and these are two of the things we consistently produce in our Pixie Bobs. All our Pixie Bobs are FeLV, FIV and Chlamydia tested negative. Our ambition is to create wonderfully healthy cats in every way, physically, mentally and emotionally.

ALSOOMSE have imported the very best bloodlines from the USA and France to compliment and develop our Pixie Bob breeding programme, including outstanding bloodlines from the original Pacific North-West, with the selective breeding of RedRiverBobis, StoneIsland, Woodghost and the coveted DixiePixie lines of Sue Jordan. All our foundation Pixie Bobs have direct lineage to Pixie herself, the foundation Pixie Bob. Our 02 and 03 Foundation Queen and Stud, give us that rare and wonderful original North West Bloodline. Their pedigree’s consists of some of the most influential Pixie Bobs in the breed from the very beginning, being only four generations from the namesake of the breed “Pixie” herself. Some of the A list Pixie Bobs in their pedigree give us a fabulous and rare combination of those old lines.

We are proud to be a founding member of the European Pixie-Bob Club. We include and work with lines which we believe trace back to bobcat/domestic matings. These are rare and no genetic proof exists. They are our inspiration. We breed to keep alive that bobcat look, whilst selecting for temperament, health and size. Being many generations removed from what we believe to be semi-wild origins, our cats are fully domestic with high intelligence and very stable, dog-like temperaments. We are in full support of the TICA requirement to breed any outcrossed cats of unverified origin to a full SBT or SBV Pixie-Bob for 3 or more generations, before the offspring is eligible to be shown. This allows us to select for the characteristics we value, to exclude unexpected traits and to hopefully move closer to a consistent look for our long-hair and short-haired Pixie-Bobs.

Over the past years we have bred some outstanding kittens and occasionally have kittens available to permanent, loving homes. We Have Kittens. Pixie Bobs are great fun, make wonderful companions, are dog like in character, love going for walks, riding in the car, retrieving toys, and are highly intelligent, very loving and bond very strongly with their human family. They are so unique to any other cat breed. Alsoomse are TICA registered and have signed up to and abide by the TICA code of ethics. We are happy to export and can ship worldwide if you would like to introduce our champion bloodlines to your country.
