Hi, my name is Donna Cox and ALSOOMSE is proud to be a foundation cattery of this beautiful breed in the UK, being one of the first to import and breed Pixie Bobs. ALSOOMSE have been specialist breeders of top quality Pixie Bobs since 2004, although we have had breeding experience for many years. It was then we started our breeding program with the Pixie Bob.

We offer outstanding Pixie Bobs available as pets, for show and breeding. Some of our Pixie Bobs are enjoying success in the TICA show rings winning "Best in Colour", "Best in Division" and just recently one of our studs, Rain Dance, achieved his "Quadruple Grand Championship" having been placed in six finals out of eight.

ALSOOMSE have imported the very best bloodlines from the USA and France to compliment and develop our Pixie Bob breeding programme, including outstanding bloodlines from the original Pacific North-West, with the selective breeding of RedRiverBobis, bloodlines of Maranda Hull, producing us large boned, wild looking Pixie Bobs. Also StoneIsland, Woodghost and the coveted DixiePixie lines of Sue Jordan. All our Pixie Bobs are Blue List Eligible, having direct lineage to Pixie herself, the foundation Pixie Bob of the breed.

We have produced some outstanding kittens as we breed for that magical wild look, producing size, type, coat, health and temperament in our ALSOOMSE Pixie Bobs. We have signed up to and abide by the TICA code of ethics and are responsible breeders as our bloodlines are valued in many parts of the world.

The Pixie Bob is so unique to any other cat breed that I am aware of. It is bred to resemble the North American Bobcat, with its robust stature, huge feet, wild looking face and Bobtail. Although the Pixie Bob has an amazing wild look, it has the temperament of a domestic cat. They are great fun, make wonderful companions, are dog like in character, love going for walks, riding in the car, retrieving toys, and are highly intelligent, very loving and bond very strongly with their human family.

Our aim is to present this rare and beautiful Pixie Bob breed in shows, to breed superior specimens at all times, coming closer to that wild look whilst having a wonderful temperament and a well socialised cat. We would like to introduce this exquisite breed to other cat lovers in the UK, for pets, show and breeding. Our ambition is to create wonderfully healthy cats in every way, physically, mentally and emotionally. Over the past year we have bred some outstanding specimens. Over the coming year it is our intention to import some of the best cats available to add further quality to our breeding programme and are expecting to breed some phenomenal future champions in 2007/2008.
